SCAN GEOPHYSICAL
 
SCAN was established in 2002 as an international seismic data acquisition company specialized in both marine streamer seismic and ocean bottom cable seismic, currently operating streamer vessels within both high-end 2D and 3D. During 2008 and 2009 SCAN will launch three new purpose-built 3D vessels with up to 10 streamers capacity.
More than 180 persons are presently working on SCAN’s vessels and in the offices. The main office is located in Oslo with representative offices in Houston, Caracas and Singapore.
SCAN is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange's Oslo Axess (Ticker: SCANG).

SCAN’s three new builds will be delivered in 2008 and 2009. The vessels are purpose built and will have the capacity to tow 8 x 10 km or 10 x 8 km in High Density mode. They will be equipped with Sercel solid seal streamers and dual air gun sources.
